About 6 months after buying this product the filtered water used in the machine turned brown. Getting it replaced has been a month of back and forth emails. I constantly get an email letting me know that my ticket will be closed when it hasn't yet been resolved. The only reason I gave two stars was due to the attentions and communication with customer experience expert Laurellee.

Great customer service

I purchased this ice maker via Amazon. The machine quit working about a month later. (The On/Off switch decided to work only when it felt like it.) The return period through Amazon was expired so I reached out to Newair support and was provided with a new unit. The machine makes ice plenty fast for my use. It's simple to use. Hopefully, it proves to be durable.
