A great addition to the Coravin line

I've used the Pivot since its release, and enjoy its ease of use compared to the Coravin for bottles I plan to finish in a few weeks. For longer periods of access, the Coravin is truly miraculous, and I have accessed individual bottles for over a year with no significant deterioration.

I prefer it over the needles

As a wine sales rep, I think this beats the needle system hands down. I only need to show the wine for a week or two. This uses way less gas and the wine stays fresh long enough. It pours as long as you hold the button, so it's easy to get the right amount every time. I think it's great for a restaurant's Coravin wine list, too. If you can't sell it in a couple of weeks, maybe it's not the right wine. Yeah it drips, pour with a napkin, like you would in service. Also no needles to break on a weird cork - they're expensive!
