Makes great ice!

I use this product in my home. I also have the smaller version that makes different size ice cubes. In my opinion this ice machine makes much better ice that does not melt so quickly, it is much more solid, but it lacks the ability to change the size of the cube. Another benefit is the water holding capacity. I recieved this as a gift, but it was non operational, customer service was prompt to fix the issue and sent out a replacement part immediately.

We like it!

My wife and I use this year round. The reservoir needs refilling every couple days or so, but is plenty big for our needs. It is nice having the refrigerated ice compartment to keep the ice from melting. Some reviews complain of having to break up the ice after it comes off the evaporator, but we don't find this to be a big issue as the ice break up pretty easily. The unit is quiet and easy to use (one button operation). Overall, we are pleased with it and suggest it over a bullet type ice maker which this replaced.
