Smokey and got character
I always describe to people that mezcal tastes like Las Vegas Smoking room. It's definitely a character Booz, and it goes really well in many cocktails. I have tried this particular mezcal with cachaça and curaçao. It adds a bit of smoke to these cocktails.
More mezcal forward - try this with 1 part mezcal and 1 part cachaca (I added some lime juice and curaçao with Demerara sugar) and garnished with dried lime wheels. Super delish for those who enjoys the mezcal flavor. The cachaca plays great support and compliments the drink well.
Just need a little smoky? Try doing this one part mezcal to two parts cachaca. Muddle some lime with sugar and add 3 parts grapefruit juice. Garnish with lime.
Great in cocktails (mainly because I don't enjoy drinking vegas carpet!😂)
Smoky and smooth for the price.
Let me start by saying I was incentivized to try this Mezcal out. That being said, I paid 30 dollars for this bottle at my local store and It was a pleasant surprise!
It has a slightly earthy sweet smell on the nose with some smoke. It is very smooth going down and has a strong smoky flavor that you expect out of Mezcal with some slight earthiness.
I made one of their signature cocktails , the green tail, and it was a nice change from my usual drink. The smokiness is still noticeable without being overbearing.
Very good for the price
