Maple sweetness as a background

It is not one of my favorites as I am a bourbon gal, but it is decent. I think I would use this more in cocktails than drink it on the rocks. I like the packaging and the NY theme of the tastes of this series. Its definitely smooth and something I'd serve at a party or a get together. I never tried this brand before and I was glad to find out easily in a local Bevmo

Strong Whiskey

This whiskey is definitely not for the faint of heart but neither is New York. Go figure! Anyways, this whiskey has a hint of flavor and a scent of the maple barrels that it was made in at the end of it being made which makes it very warm. It is definitely a strong whiskey. I tried it on the rocks but it just was too strong for my liking. I am going to give it a second shot and try it in a cocktail this next time. I was not disappointed in this whiskey though.
