The whiskey is definitely a good mixing whiskey. It was hard to get used to the maple taste at the end however it is definitely smooth. I love the look of the bottle as it's very simplistic.

Maple sweetness as a background

It is not one of my favorites as I am a bourbon gal, but it is decent. I think I would use this more in cocktails than drink it on the rocks. I like the packaging and the NY theme of the tastes of this series. Its definitely smooth and something I'd serve at a party or a get together. I never tried this brand before and I was glad to find out easily in a local Bevmo
