This has a very woody taste. It also doesn't have the burn when you swallow it. Its more expansive but well worth it

This is by far the BEST whiskey I have ever drank. The price is well worth the experience to drink this. Pour over an ice ball. And sip. No need to have a mixer. You can taste a little smoke from the aged barrel as well as hint of Carmel
