An Excellent Whiskey Well Above It's Pay Grade

Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit is an excellent bourbon that ascends to a class well above its price point. Falling into the mid price range, this is just one of the best whiskeys you can buy, for any price, period. The nose has the distinct, yet deeper Wild Turkey honey sweetness to it. On the pallet, it is smooth and sweet, very mild - there is no burn or bite the way some may describe the Original 101. The finish is equally smooth, with strong, warm caramel lingering for a while after. This is the bottle my friends and I judge all other whiskeys against. When it is found, we buy as much of it as available. Kentucky Spirit is an excellent everyday drinker, but is equally at home reserved for the finest of occasions. This is a sipper and one to be enjoyed after a well earned day, or with close friends. Don't pass it up if there is a bottle on the shelf.
