the glenlivet enigma

Enigma---Well stated!

Received this particular Glenlivet at a gift. It is truly an Enigma. Too much going on here to get to a handle on or to describe. It hits very strong and complex. Then just as you think it is too much it softens to an incredibly smooth finish. The analogy I came up with to describe it is that it is like standing on the beach in a strong surf. The wave hits hard and then it softly rolls back into the sea.

Received as a Christmas gift. Samples tonight has a nice creamy feel and citrus taste. Still waiting for the return of 12 yr old GLenlivot in green bottle. This will be an ok substitute until then
