The sugar cane...
The sugar cane/molasses palate is subtle and gives this Scotch a delightful, barely there sweet finish. My favorite after the American oak of the Balvenie collection. Cheers!

An enjoyable Scotch....
An enjoyable Scotch. It has notes of vanilla and spice from the rum barrels, which definitely make it unique. It's just not quite as smooth as I like my Scotches to be, and I've definitely had more enjoyable sips at this price point.
