Nice light tasting gin go's down smooth no after taste mix's well with other liquors

I was gifted this gin...
I was gifted this gin by a person who thinks I'm crazy for liking gin. And this gin is probably why they think I'm crazy. It does not taste pleasant and does not go down well, at least for me. There is a possibility that I am biased as I have an established favorite in my head in terms of gin.
