russell's reserve single barrel bourbon

One of the best bourbons money can buy.

I am a Wild Turkey man through and through. Even though I enjoy a plethora of different bourbons from other distilleries, I always come back to Wild Turkey products with a smile on my face. For over 30 years, all I would drink was Wild Turkey 101, and why not. It is the hands down best seller among bourbons, period. But when i tried the Russell's Reserve Single Barrel..... wow, was I impressed. Notes of honey, caramel and toffee greet your palate up front, then at mid palate, a notes of oak come through and it finishes with that Wild Turkey note of pepper and cinnamon on the finish. This, in my opinion is one of the best examples of bourbon on the market today. I couldn't recommend this offering more.

Always a great pour

The single barrel is fantastic at 110 proof. Definitely something I keep in stock at the home bar. Keep any eye out for private selection single barrels, they are even better!
