russell's reserve 10 year old bourbon

Excellent Pour!

I have had Russell Reserve 10 year for close to one year before I decided to crack it open. This bourbon comes in at 90 proof and is an easy everyday drinker if you want it to be, but tastes more high end compared to the price tag. The nose is that great oak char along with burnt caramel. The tasting notes at the beginning was orange peel following by vanilla and pear notes. The finish is a bit short with a nutty finish. I am so glad I purchased this product and will definitely be trying their other bourbons they offer.

Solid, Delicious Bourbon

RR 10 year is one of the best values in the bourbon market today. I first tried this when I visited the distillery. So much flavor for a 10 year without an over presence of oak. Would have loved to meet Mr. Russell during our visit.
