Smooth. Very pleasant taste and flavor.
I enjoyed the flavor and smoothness of the rum. There was no awful aftertaste like some rums I have tried in the past. Great product. Received as part of a promotion for my opinion.

Smooth and easy to drink
My partner and I tried this rum both neat and mixed with pineapple juice. Both were smooth and easy to drink although the rum itself left a bit to be desired. It has the slightest bit of heat when neat. Most rums are sweet and neither of us felt Mount Gay Black Barrel was that.
