More than a name, more than a mixer

Firstly, I loved that the name of this whiskey ties to how it used to be made. Now, this whiskey is marketed to be used in cocktails but me, I wanted to taste it solo dolo. It was actually not bad at all for being in this price range. It had some buttery vanilla notes and definitely oak, not much sweetness though. Since it was good on its own it should be great in a cocktail.

Surprisingly good

I'm not a whiskey person but my boyfriend is. I decided to buy this and give it a shot. If I didn't like it, he would drink it. Much to my surprise, I liked it. I added a little to my hot tea when I wasn't feeling well but plan to mix it with other things in the future. I would repurchase this.
