The monkeys are cute

I've heard such great things about this that I had to try it but I was a little disappointed. It's not as smooth as others I've tried in the same price range. Don't get me wrong, it's fine and I'll definitely be enjoying the rest of the bottle but it's just not making it into my top favorites list.

Enjoyable

We had heard about Monkey Shoulder and were excited to have an excuse to buy it! First off, cute bottle! I like the monkeys sitting on the Shoulder of the bottle! We had it straight up. The first sip was really peaty... but once some air got in there in mellowed out nicely. We tasted vanilla, citrus, clove... it was good! It packed a nice kick as my husband and I felt it after the first drink! Two of those and we'd be done for the night and that's saying a lot of for us! lol But overall it was a good sipping whiskey! (don't you dare mix it with coke or anything!)
