Better served mixed

I tried the 4000 Conejos two different ways: straight up and mixed with orange juice. The Conejos by itself is bitter. When I mixed it with the orange juice, it balanced the bitter and sweet and was good.

Smokey orange flavor

This mezcal gives off smokey citrusy notes , not too spicy but the smoke gives it a little bit of a bite . I used this in a mule and let me tell you it was delicious!!!
