The initial scent is
The initial scent is oak, honey and some smoke. The palate is sweet, with immediate honey, licorice and barley. A bit of butterscotch and peat round it out. It is sweet without being overly so. A decent medium lingering aftertaste leaves some smoke in the mouth.

Have only had this
Have only had this a few times with my family on the holidays. I honestly feel like overall johnnie walker's are overpriced for what they're offering – but maybe i'm not quite refined enough to understand the better version
