Jim beam rye made with the pre-prohibition era recipe. This is perfect for making a good old fashioned. It's dryer than a regular bourbon which is the way it's supposed to be because of the ingredients in the drink. It's a bit pricier than the regular Jim beam so I don't get it all the time but it's well worth it. If you love the old fashioned drink, try making it with this. A+

My local store carries this and I am thankful

I live in a very small village in the middle of cow country in Wisconsin, there are no other stores for at least 20 miles and thankfully the one local store in my village carries Jim Beam Rye which has become among my favorite drinks. It is very easy to drink with a very smooth taste. I've been getting a bottle of this every weekend to share with my family and friends. I want to thank Hank Williams Jr for encouraging me to drink this fine whiskey.
