Didn't know it had a spice character

I was hoping for a very rich And intense oaky flavor. On the sip all I taste is cinnamon with a nice hint of mellow oak. Either way it's very smooth and I will enjoy it anytime I want something a little different.

Found it at my local wine store KL Wines in San Francisco. Tried one. Was Blown away. Told friends and family and now I've become a veritable Double oak evangelist. The maple syrup mid-palate with the oak foundation are hard to beat. It is now my go-to bourbon. Thanks folks.
