jameson caskmates stout edition

Rich, creamy and delicious!

I have been a Jameson drinker for years. When the Caskmates editions came out I was skeptical. Since my beer of choice is Guinness, I figured why not give it a try. I am not a stuffy connoisseur of spirits who uses scrabble words to describe a drink but I can tell you this Stout Whiskey is really tasty. The color is slightly darker than regular Jameson, the nose is rich and smells exactly as you would expect, and the taste is really flavorful. You can taste the stout barrels but it's not overwhelming. Jameson Black is probably my favorite but this Stout edition is a VERY close second.

Some, but not too much...

I hope Jamison continues to stay away from the overly flavored whiskeys. Caskmates are a bit of a dabble on the flavor enhanced side, but not too much. Thanks, keep up the good work
