It is a smooth whiskey and great for spitting .Don't need a mixer.

Not your typical tipple.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the tone of this version. It's still very much Jamison, the same silky-smooth mouthfeel, but with a much more full-bodied flavor palate. I went right back & bought 3 more bottles!
