hendrick's gin

My husband and I just got into gin so we've been trying a few brands over the last 6 months. I think Hendricks is a staple if you like gin or interested in giving it a try. I would recommend it.

Floral forward with a hint of heat

I first tried this gin at the recommendation of a friend after I told him that I didn't really like gin. Apparently not having tried this one was a cardinal sin to gin-drinkers…so I gave it a taste completely on its own. To my absolute surprise I LOVED IT. Nowadays, if I see any bar has Hendricks, I will gladly pay any up charge to replace this gin in any of their menu cocktails. It's the most floral tasting gin I've ever had, but it doesn't have that typical rose water perfume taste. This has a lovely taste of rose, cucumber, and even elderflower. It's more like getting all those authentic tasting ingredients from a tea than drinking an infused alcohol. It mixes well with almost anything and is now a staple in my house.
