Hendrix is a good, staple gin. This liquor has the classic pine and dry accents one expects from gin with a smoothness you can't get from a well liquor. That being said I think Hendrick's Gin lacks that extra x-factor. This is a great mixing liquor given how light the liquor itself actually tastes but it relies on heavier mixers (i.e. dirty martinis, extra sweet or sour Tom Collins). I would advise not using light mixers like a gin and soda unless you add a good amount of lime.

I properly got introduced to Gin and Tonics through Hendricks year ago and I haven't strayed since. Muddled with some cucumbers in the bottom of the glass and this is a staple drink in my repertoire lol. It's the smoothest and best tasting gin in my opinion.
