I have been to a few bourbon and whiskey tastings but I still have a difficult time picking out the particular flavors like the fruits. The Bourbon barrel aging always gives a nice after taste and the smell is always inviting. Aside from the name and year, you can tell that this is a great quality scotch whiskey because it is smooth and leaves no bitterness. It was pleasant to drink on the rock (we use one giant cube to not water as much), but I am sure many can enjoy it straight without issue. I wouldn't use this one for mixed drinks due to price and quality, but it definitely can mix splendidly. My husband and I will definitely purchase again!

Nice

This was our first time trying this scotch. In my opinion it was nice and smooth with subtle notes of vanilla and smoke. It was a very nice experience. It's aged in bourbon barrels which gives it a nice finish.
