untrained scotch drinker
I'm not someone who can usually handle drinking liquor straight - I'm far from an expert on the topic of scotch - but this was delicious. It was smooth and smokey and didn't make my tastebuds grimace as they usually do trying to sip straight liquor.

smokey, caramel notes on the nose. the taste is smooth, hints of vanilla, musk & honey. warm down the throat without the harsh burn of lesser whiskeys. hubby is a fan of the 12 year & I bought this as an anniversary present. the 2 extra years does not disappoint.
