Warm
Scotch whisky is not my favorite thing. I am more of a clear liquor person. I had this in a small snifter type glass. It definitely has a warm whisky smell. You can smell the bourbon barrel definitely! A bit more depth than the 12 year for sure. Neat to read the site about their vintage collection bottles. This bottle is aged in two different barrels which is neat.

Smooth tastes with delicious finnish
I was hesitant to purchase this as I'm typically more of a Bourbon fan, but I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised and I really enjoyed this one. Overall the aroma gave the notes of apple and vanilla. On the tongue it tasted of caramel and apple. It reminds me of a grown up apple cider. This was easy to sip on its own, but I may try making in a cozy fall cocktail. Overall I am really impressed with the quality, taste and the amazing packaging as well. So glad I had a chance to give this a try!
