Glenfiddich 12 year Scotch Whisky

what a smooth and lovely single malt scotch. we picked this up as a housewarming present and the hosts were impressed! they opened it and we all had a little bit on the rocks. the taste is smooth and doesn't make me wince like a lot of scotches do. Very impressed, and wanting to get another bottle to make some cocktails at home for the upcoming cold winter.

Very Smooth, Subtle Taste

I do enjoy my whiskey but I can say that the highest brand on the shelf that I've ever went for was Jack Daniel's, so I was extremely excited to try this Glenfiddich Scotch Whiskey. So excited, in fact, that I found myself doing a shot before noon. The first thing I noticed is that it has a very smooth taste. With a lot of whiskeys you really notice the woody taste of the barrel. I feel like it's a lot more subtle with this, there is the woody flavor there that I love, but it's more complex and not at all over bearing. I'm sitting here sipping it, trying to put my finger on a better way to explain. I think if you are a whiskey lover, as I am (it's my drink of choice), this is a must try.
