very smooth, it's a fantastic scotch especially if it is your first. my husband is a whiskey/bourbon aficionado but hadn't made his way to scotch until now. fantastic addition to the collection.

Kick in the end
Its smooth taste straight out of the bottle there's a kick right at the end. Not harass but do let you know that it's here. Still sipping on it a year later.
