glenfiddich 12 year old single malt scotch whisky

a great second

I am not sure if it was due to drinking both on the same night, but while this 12 year is wonderful with a lighter crisp smell, I prefer the 14 year. Typically when I buy this brand, this is the one I purchase. It is well priced and it is great from straight or mixing. I typically do not mix but when guests are invited we like that to be an option. The flavor is smooth and does not leave a bitter taste, it is a great staple and worth the purchase. I will definitely purchase again but if I have the extra cash I would prefer the 14 year.

wonderful whisky!

I am new to whisky and was excited to try this. Glenfiddich is well known in whisky to i figured I couldn't go wrong. it's slightly spicy but still smooth. It goes down easy. It has hints of fruit, mainly apple. it also has a nutty, butterscotch flavor. I probably prefer it in a cocktail although I would also drink it neat. really enjoy and would buy again!
