definitely recommend
Smooth, light texture and notes of orchard fruits, oak, and vanilla flan. The finish is coating and lightly sweet with more oak and pear.

A Simple Yet Uninteresting Scotch
I drink a lot of scotch. The Glenfiddich 12 is a nice clean dram without anything to distinguish it easily from a nice blend. If someone asked me for a "starting place" to begin learning about scotch I might point them to this and then line up some peated selections or sherried drams to begin learning where scotch can go. As it is, it's average nice scotch...not challenging, not transcendent, just a consistently average nice scotch. If a scotch loving friend asked for a recommendation, this wouldn't be on the list. If a true scotch neophyte asked for a suggestion, I would likely point to Glenfiddich 12.
