glenfiddich 12 year old single malt scotch whisky

Pleasantly Surprised

I do not like scotch but have never tried Glenfiddich so figured why not. It definitely has the scotch fire bite in the beginning but there really is pear afterwards! If it wasn't for the initial bite I would be loving this! I'm sure once you drink more than a small glass the bite goes away and you can fully enjoy the delicious after tastes but my taste buds won't let me. My husband really enjoyed it though and said it may be his new favorite scotch.

I was excited to see there was a cashback offer for the Glenfiddich products. I'm more of a bourbon drinker, but I do enjoy a good 12 year when given the opportunity. Glenfiddich has wonderful sweet notes that remind me of the butterscotch my grandma would give me. I prefer to have it with a little water to open up the flavor and give it a more well rounded taste, but you can enjoy it however you like.
