I am new to bourbon but not new to spirits. There are lots of bourbons with lots of hype and very high price tags. I wanted something easy to find and easy to enjoy and most importantly gave me affordable quality. I found Evan Williams Bottled in Bond. I am sold. I have several market leaders in my cabinet this is what I find myself reaching for. Neat, rocks, or mixer it meets my mood and my needs. Thank you Heaven Hill. If this was a boxer, it would be known for hitting way above its weight class. Great flavor for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails. I am happy to pay for this bourbon because it never disappoints. It has an excellent corn flavor, light spice, perfect proof, and nice oak hints, with a solid finish.
