evan williams 1783 small batch

Way better than plain Evan!!

Years ago I was asked to try Evan Williams in lieu of Jack Daniels. I did and instantly switched. They are so close that paying the big premium for Jack was not worth it. Subsequent blind comparisons further prove the point. Evan has been my go to bourbon ever since. Sometimes you want to step up a notch. When 1783 made its debut. I really liked it. So smooth with no firery burn. I compared it to other premium bourbons. Again just like my experience with Evan Williams versus Jack Daniels, any very slight difference in taste is just not worth the extra cost. It's now my go to small batch or single barrel bourbon. Fantastic job, folks!!

Most underrated whiskey in America

This is my go to. It is affordable and matches with most anything out there, and I own some expensive whiskies. I always enjoy it straight up with one cube of ice
