Very Nice to drink

I would recommend this seems consistent. On another. I purchased Black label for years. Always enjoyed it till one day me and my guest did not. Had a off odd flavor and when opened it released pressure which built up. 1783 Great stuff. I just hope to GOD you never have a problem with it. There is no customer service at this place and calls will not be returned or problems resolved

Perfect for an Old Fashioned

It fits well in my liquor cabinet: all the usual suspects: Makers, Wild Turkey, Buffalo Trace, Weller Special, Larceny, etc. I recently purchased a 1783 1.75 l bottle based first on my experience with Evan Williams as a brand in general, and second on the excellent price point. I am enjoying my first go at it in a cocktail glass with a single large cube, 2 tsp of homemade simple syrup, a couple of dashes of peychaud bitters and an orange peel, using a kitchen peeler. It makes an exceptionally good Old Fashioned that I will try on some of my friends who like them. I can't wait to sip it straight.
