Bitter Flavor Profile

I quite enjoy most of the flavors in this brand line but Black Cherry is the exception. I found the flavor profile to be somewhat bitter, almost like cough syrup. I tried cutting it with cranberry juice but that didn't improve the experience for me. I'll stick with some of the other flavors,

This is my favorite vodka flavored or not. It's smooth and taste great. I'm unhappy because it is no longer available in Baton Rouge, LA. Where can I purchase it nearby?
