DJ-1942 is not for the faint of heart. Both taste and price are towards the high end of what you'll find when it comes to tequila. It's super smooth and has a oaky spice with a fresh agave finish. It's definitely a special occasion tequila so I don't recommend it for mixed drinks. Honestly, you're wasting your money doing that and you'll be better off with a cheaper tequila. But if you're looking to have a fancy night and enjoy top-notch tequila, Don Julio 1942 is your best bet. The bottle pictured is from our 10 year anniversary/engagement night.
