My mom loves Crown Royal , she can drink or even sip on this , one of her go to whiskeys & recently priced

I found the smell of...
I found the smell of this whiskey to be very astringent with little sweetness. The taste was also a little to sweet for me, but that is a matter of preference. However, I did find it to be a little weak compared to what the name and the packaging would make you expect. I think the price is fair since it is still better than cheaper whiskey, however I honestly think the name and the packaging promises too much.
