This is such a complex whisky. I try to stick to whisky but often fruity. CR Black is the complete opposite. Scents of cherry, chocolate, charcoal and orange, followed by hints of rum. The taste continues the story. Rather than the simple smooth fruity CR flavour it's bold, with spicy rye, and cinnamon followed by cherries and bourbon. So nice to so such a complex Canadian Whisky. Well done. This is NOT for someone that likes a smooth, gentle whisky. This is for someone that likes a kick, even on the rocks it has a punch.

Crown Royal is my favorite and go to drink. Black is the best of them all. Its smooth when drinking straight and goes great with my Dr Pepper. I dont think it needs any improvement at all. It definitely meets my expectations and I buy it all the time.
