Guess I didn't read into this product that good. Didn't realize you took the pivot out after each use and just sealed the cap. Kind of a messy product.

Actually works

I have used vacuum pump systems, canned argon gas spritzes, refrigeration, etc., and always found the taste of the wine the day(s) after disappointing. This device has kept the taste and flavor of the wine intact for at least three days after opening; I haven't had a bottle last any longer than this to this point. So, yes, I fully recommend this for saving that bottle.
