I genuinely don't understand

I genuinely don't understand the hype surrounding ciroc. I've tried a number of flavors on different occasions and have found the flavor to be average when compared to other flavored vodka. The quality does not, in my opinion, seem superior. If I'm going to pay for a higher quality liquor, I'd prefer one that lived up to expectations or is at the very least better tasting then bottom/mid shelf liquor.
