Chambord Black...

Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur Grand Mariner Liqueur I am not a big drinker so when I used to go out I would usually settle for shots followed by a non-alcoholic chaser of some sort. I can't remember the name of all the drinks we concocted over the years but we sure did have a lot of fun doing it. A staple of any fru-fru type cocktail is Grand Marnier with its syrupy orange texture and taste. It went very well with Chambord's purple-y raspberry flavor so we layered a lot of shots together. As I lived on the beach in South Carolina back then we were limited to using mini bottles of liquor, per the state law, until sometime in the 1990's, I think. These small "airplane" bottles were more like a shot and a little more than a half...making individual drinks very dangerous. So we would split 1 mini of Grand Marnier mixed with 1 mini of Chambord, then ad a splash of black cherry fruit juice, which will make approximately 4 shots. Kinda sweet, but it was our after dinner drink so the balance of the meal with the shots don't weigh you down. I would recommend both of these liquors.

I love this stuff....

I love this stuff. First of all the packaging is just so pretty on a home bar shelf. Mix this in a shot glass with peanut butter whiskey and have a pb&j shot!
