Deep cherry color that suggests a young and vibrant wine.
Nose
Nose is rich in aromas and pronounced in intensity. We are struck by the ripe red fruit, later we get the wood nuances with gently sweet notes of vanilla to finish with other sweet spices.
Palate
On the palate it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa.

Too dry and absence of notes in description
The wine improved with oxidation, however, I did not taste the hints of vanilla or spice as in the description. I bought 2 bottles and will use the 2nd one as a base for mulled wine.

The Campo Viejo...
The Campo Viejo Reserva is a perfect dinner wine for the holiday party season. It's affordable but still very good, and sure to be a crowd pleaser.
