Tasting Notes
Appearance
Deep cherry color that suggests a young and vibrant wine.
Nose
Nose is rich in aromas and pronounced in intensity. We are struck by the ripe red fruit, later we get the wood nuances with gently sweet notes of vanilla to finish with other sweet spices.
Palate
On the palate it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa.

If Im being honest,...
If Im being honest, this is just not my cup of tea- or wine. I had the boyfriend test it out for me because he is much more into a bit of bite in his wine, and he seemed to think it was fairly decent. I know the cost was only about $9 so it was definitely budget friendly. I personally prefer the sweeter kick in Lambrusco to the bitter strong taste of this. However, if you like the kick to the taste buds you might actually enjoy this.

I dont normally reach...
I dont normally reach for red wines. I was interested to see how I would like it. Surprisingly, it is delicious and I wouldnt mind bringing this to the next girls night. Its not too intense for me as some red wines can be. I let my sister-in-law try it as well (who loves reds) and she asked what kind was it and where could she get it. Bonus: Love that I can swing through and pick it up while Im at Target.
