Nose is rich in aromas and pronounced in intensity. We are struck by the ripe red fruit, later we get the wood nuances with gently sweet notes of vanilla to finish with other sweet spices.
Palate
On the palate it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa.

Need to let it breathe...
Need to let it breathe, a little dry at first. Has a little bit of spice to it. I drank it when eating pasta.

I am not a huge wine...
I am not a huge wine connoisseur so I was assuming this would be sweet. However, it paired well with my homemade charcuterie board of arugula, tomato, pepperoni, sharp cheddar, celery, and strawberries drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. It was a little dry fit my liking but not a bad wine overall.
