Ruby-Red color, bright and deep.
Nose
Intense nose, with a great balance between the fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and the clean nuances coming from the oak (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut), enriched by the complex aromas developed during bottle ageing.
Palate
Very attractive on the palate, with ripe fruit and spices, tobacco and toasted oak. Elegant and soft tannins, middle weight, long and complex finish.

This wine is so smooth...
This wine is so smooth. We recently had a dinner party and this wine was a major hit. We had one of our friends call us and ask for the name of what we had served at the party. It was very good and I would repurchase it.

Campo Viejo Rioja. ... A contemporary, fruit driven style of Rioja that is very popular, and for good reason. It's the smooth velvety texture of this wine that makes it such a pleasure to drink. Recommend it
