Ruby-Red color, bright and deep.
Nose
Intense nose, with a great balance between the fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and the clean nuances coming from the oak (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut), enriched by the complex aromas developed during bottle ageing.
Palate
Very attractive on the palate, with ripe fruit and spices, tobacco and toasted oak. Elegant and soft tannins, middle weight, long and complex finish.

My husband and I drank...
My husband and I drank this wine with a cozy dinner of homemade mushroom alfredo pasta this past Valentines weekend. The wine was slightly dry yet pleasantly sweet. It had notes that reminded us of black cherries and red vines licorice. Typically these sweet fruity notes are not as prominent with a dry red wine so it was a refreshing change of pace. The wine's sweetness made it easy to sip on even after we finished the food and enjoyed a quiet evening watching Netflix on the couch together. I am really glad that we got to try this wine since it is not something that we would have normally tried on our own. We would pick up another bottle in the future, either for ourselves or to bring to a dinner party and share with our friends.

Very drinkable wine....
Very drinkable wine. Slightly fruity smell with vanilla and spice. Soft and sweet on the palate with a smooth finish. Good with a meal or as a stand along drinking wine. I would buy again and probably pair with paella or a tomato base pasta dish
