Ruby-Red color, bright and deep.
Nose
Intense nose, with a great balance between the fruit (cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) and the clean nuances coming from the oak (clove, pepper, vanilla and coconut), enriched by the complex aromas developed during bottle ageing.
Palate
Very attractive on the palate, with ripe fruit and spices, tobacco and toasted oak. Elegant and soft tannins, middle weight, long and complex finish.

Ill be the first to...
Ill be the first to say that Im picky when it comes to red wine. When given the opportunity to review Campo Viejo, I figured Id give it a try. On its own, the wine isnt bad, but its much, much better when used for Sangria. I let mine sit overnight with apples and oranges & it was delicious. Id definitely buy it in the future for Sangria.

Was excited to try...
Was excited to try this wine and definitely enjoyed it. Im more of a cab girl so this is a little drier. Great taste with a great price point! I paired it with some chocolate chip cookies and I have to say it was a good combo! Would probably buy this again.
