basil hayden kentucky straight bourbon whiskey

No bite

I recently did a 5 bourbon taste test at a local bar. The bartender chose those 5 and Basil Hayden was first. I cleansed my mouth with water and time between samples. There were about two sips to each Bourbon. No other came close. Great bourbon taste but didn't burn my tongue like the others. Many years ago I had the same reaction to Pappy the first time I tried it.
