This Bourbon Stands Out
The first time I had Basil was at Monks' Bar at the Priory Hotel in Pittsburg, which happens to be the smallest bar in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a good place for conversation with strangers. The knowledgeable bartender recommended Basil Hayden (though she mispronounced it) and I'm so glad that she did. The smoothness is unmatched and is the reason that it is my go-to bourbon for all occasions.

I do remember the guy that first suggested Basil Hayden's. I then learned of and tried many other bourbons. I just haven't found another that I enjoy every sip. I've gone full circle and I'm back to my original favorite, Basil Hayden's.
